City man arrested in Fla. murder

Special to the WJH

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 29-year-old Waycross man has been arrested by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in connection to a December 2024 murder in Jacksonville.

Riheam Daykwon Anderson was identified in mid-April as the final suspect, JSO said. The agency obtained an arrest warrant for murder and began searching for him around Jacksonville.

Anderson was located and arrested Tuesday, May 13 in Waycross. Anderson was brought back to Jacksonville and joins 29year-old Daveron Cani Reed and 29-year-old Leon Jamon Williams in custody at the pre-trial detention facility awaiting trial.

Reed was arrested in late December on an accessory to murder charge.

Williams was arrested in February and charged with murder.

JSO detectives said Dave Joseph was found December 22, 2024, with multiple gunshot wounds in a Wendy’s parking lot along New Kings Road.

He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and died days later.

JSO eventually determined “several suspects” had been involved in the shooting.
