If you’re going to graduation

Ware County High School has compiled a “Graduation Top 10” for those planning to attend commencement for the Class of 2025 at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 24 in Memorial Stadium.

The “Top 10” is an effort to enhance the experience of all involved, but especially the 353 members of the class on this milestone day in their lives.

• Gates open at 7:30. Arrive early to ensure you and your family have ample seating.

• All guests should be seated by 8:20 a.m., and should remain seated throughout the ceremony.

• Safety protocols will be implemented for the well-being of all. Patience and kindness is appreciated.

• The following items are not permitted in the stadium: umbrellas; confetti poppers; balloons; air horns; and other noise makers. Be respectful of those around you.

• Everyone must have a seat. Standing along the guardrails is not permitted for safety purposes.

• The school systems clear bag policy must be followed for items carried in.

• Please remain seated until after the senior song is finished. Do not leave the stands early or stand at the gates. Guests will be released to the field only after the conclusion of the song.

• Ask your student in advance to meet see TOP, Page 2A you in a certain spot on the field to ease confusion for personal celebrations after the ceremony.

• Remember, this is a formal event and special day in all lives. Attendees are expected to be respectful of graduates and their families at all times.
