McIntosh and Sergent look ahead to their futures

Medicine, biology fields of study

Valedictorian Will McIntosh and Salutatorian Walker Sergent led the class of 2025.

McIntosh is the son of Randy and Ericka McIntosh. He has one sister, Kate, a sophomore at PCHS. McIntosh is a four-year cross country athlete, was a member of the PCHS Math Team and BETA, and was voted “Most Intellectual” by the senior class.

He was also the Sons of the American Revolution “Good Citizen’ recipient for the senior class and was selected by the Blackshear Exchange Club as their 'Student of the Month' during his senior year. McIntosh is an active member of First Baptist Church in Blackshear. His future plans include attending Georgia College and State University and eventually transfer to the University of Georgia to study medicine.

Sergent is the son of David and Celesta Sergent. He has three sisters: Jasmine, a junior at PCHS, and Kayla and Emma, both of whom are in fifth grade at Midway. Sergent was a four year member of the PCHS swim team, where he served as captain and was a two-time state qualifier.

Sergent also served on the FCA Leadership Team, Math Team and was the 2025 STAR Student for PCHS. He attends Central Baptist in Waycross, where he serves as a youth. Sergent plans to attend Ole Miss University to major in biology in pursuit of a premed track.
