Jeffrey Hickson and Sandra Maignan, both of Blackshear, were named to the spring 2025 president’s list at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH.
Students named to the president’s list must earn a minimum grade point average of 3.70 while enrolled full-time.
Southern New Hampshire University is a private, nonprofit, accredited institution with a 92-year history of educating traditional-aged students and working adults.
Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College
Taylor Corbitt from Blackshear recently received the Academic Excellence Award at the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton.
The award, presented by Colquitt Regional Medical Center, goes to the graduate with the highest cumulative grade point average.
Corbitt was one of 59 students who received associate degree pins and 10 students received bachelor’s degree pins at the ceremony.
Georgia College and State University
Ellie Mattox and Benjamin Stovall, both of Blackshear, were named to the spring 2025 dean’s list at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville.
Mattox is a student in the John H. Lounsbury College of Education. Stovall is a students in the College of Arts & Sciences. To earn distinction on the dean’s list, undergraduate students must achieve a minimum 3.5 semester GPA while completing at least 12 hours of coursework.
Hannah Gilleon of Blackshear and Khiya Williams of Bristol were named to the president’s list for the spring 2025 term.
Gilleon and Williams are enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences..
