Sarah Bell Bryant Moore, 86, of Blackshear, passed away Wednesday morning, May 14, 2025, at Harborview Satilla in Waycross, following an extended illness.
Born November 8, 1938, in Blackshear, she was a daughter of the late William Franklin Bryant and Ola Mae Nettles Bryant Taylor.

Living most of her life in Pierce County, she was a 1956 graduate of Blackshear High School. She had worked as a secretary for Tex Gas, a teller at Peoples Bank and was the long-time owner of Moore’s Fashions on Main Street.
She also farmed alongside her husband, the late Rev. Herman Moore, for many years and served as a devoted pastor’s wife. She was a long-time member of Walkerville Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her step-father, John Taylor; a sister, Doris Strickland; two brothers, David Bryant and Jones Bryant and step-siblings, Red Taylor, JE Taylor, Joe Taylor, Geneva Miles, Dean Cribbs and Bill Taylor.
Survivors include her two sons, Kevin Moore (wife Connie) and Kyle Moore (wife Karen), all of Blackshear; nine grandchildren, Austin Moore (wife Lauran), Aaron Moore (wife Destiny), Rachel Stokes (husband Tyler), Autumn Murphy (husband Scott), Garrett Moore (wife Rylee) and Leavy Moore, all of Blackshear, Ashton Cumbee (husband Jason), Ridge Spring, SC, Matt Crosby, Mershon, and Andy Crosby (wife Lisa), Waycross; 14 great-grandchildren, Coburn Murphy, Cora Beth Murphy, Cordell Murphy, Laney Rhea Moore, Lily Sue Moore, Jesslyn Moore, Keagan Moore, Darren Stokes, Lyla Stokes, Emerson Moore, Emmett Moore, Elayna Crosby, Jenna Crosby and Avery Crosby; a sister, Joyce Brooks, Kingsland; a brother-in-law, Farley Strickland, Blackshear; a sister-in-law, Elaine Kent, Ocilla; two step-sisters-in-law, Burdell Hallman, Richmond Hill and Earline Taylor, DeLand, FL and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at Walkerville Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 18, from the Walkerville Baptist Church.
