Lori Comstock (left) has been chosen Ware County Head Start Staffer of the Year in a vote of her peers, Director Angela Carr announced recently. Comstock has been with the program, which is operated by Action Pact, for approximately five years. Center Coordinator Alaycia Staten (right) said Comstock “has exceptional dedication, leadership, and commitment to our Head Start program as well as our Head Start team. Lori consistently goes above and beyond, ensuring smooth center operations, supporting staff, and maintaining compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. Her ability to manage multiple priorities while providing hands-on support has significantly contributed to our center’s success.” Staten said the center’s teachers praise her open communication, approachability, and willingness to mentor and assist. “Her leadership fosters collaboration, professional growth, and a nurturing environment for both staff and families,” Staten added.
