A Blackshear man has been arrested on child sex trafficking charged.
John Oscar Woodard, 55, was arrested Tuesday, April 22, and charged with felony - trafficking a person for sexual servitude, grooming of a minor for sexual offense or trafficking for sexual servitude, misdemeanor - marijuana possession less than 1oz, interference with custody, willful obstruction of law enforcement officers and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Deputy Landry Lloyd responded to an area in Pierce County. After initial contact, Deputy Lloyd requested assistance from Deputy Landon Ryals, K-9 Sergeant Michael James, ACE Unit Lieutenant Jacob Winters and Investigator Greg Nettles. The investigation led to Woodard’s arrest.
Woodard is currently being held in the Pierce County Jail.
