PCHS Drama Dept. presents ‘ The Little Mermaid’ Pierce County High School’s Drama Department will present Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” May 8, 9 and 10 at the Pierce County High School Auditorium. The show will begin at 7 p.m. each night.
Tickets are $10 each. The play is directed by Rebecca Sermons.
Memorial Satilla maternity class to be held May 12
Memorial Satilla will have maternity classed to help families prepare for childbirth and life after a new baby arrives.
The class includes a tour of Memorial Satilla’s state-of-the art Birthing Center at 1900 Tebeau Street Waycross.
Maternity Classes are held monthly in the Birthing Center Conference Room (third floor) May 12, July 14 and September 15.
Unison Board of Directors to meet May 17
The Unison Behavioral Health Board of Directors Nominating and Membership Committee will hold a meeting on Saturday, May 17th at 11:45am. Following that meeting, Unison Behavioral Health’s Board of Directors will hold their board meeting at noon. Both meetings will be held in the Phoenix Center Ballroom, Suite 231 located at 215 Pendleton Street, Waycross.

Southern Georgia Regional Commission to meet May 22
A meeting of the Southern Georgia Regional Commission Council is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22. The meeting will be held at the SGRC Waycross Office, 1725 S. Georgia Parkway West, Waycross.
An executive and nomination committeemeeting will be held prior to the council meet ing beginning at 10 a.m. All meetings are open to the public.
Area Agency on Aging to meet May 28 The Aging Advisory Council of the Southern Georgia Regional Commission’s Area Agency on Aging will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 28. The meeting will be held at the Southern Georgia Regional Commission at 1725 South Georgia Parkway, West in Waycross. It is open to the public. AmVets to meet monthly
The C.C. Stephens Amvets Post 621 will meet the second Saturday of each month at the post on Ossie Davis Parkway in Waycross. Amvets is open to retired veterans in the area.
