Sheriff’s Report

Two individuals were arrested on drug charges during a traffic stop Friday, April 11.

• John Alvarez, 40, was arrested Friday, April 11, and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor - possession and use of drug related objects and seat belt violation.

• Alyssa Marie Ruiz, 40, was arrested and charged with felony three Counts of possession of Scheduled II controlled substance, three counts of possession of scheduled IV controlled substance, misdemeanor - drugs not kept in original container, possession and use of drug related objects, and seat belt violation. K-9 Sergeant Michael James was requested by Georgia State Patrol to assist on a traffic stop in Pierce County leading to the arrests.

• Francisco Hernandez, 37, was arrested Monday, April 14, and charged with felony - aggravated battery.

Deputy Hunter Griffin responded to a residence in Pierce County that led to Hernandez’s arrest.

• George Williams, 59, was arrested Tuesday, April 15, and charged with felony - terroristic threats and acts.

Deputy Jack Golub responded to an area in Pierce County that led to Williams’ arrest.

• Joshua Mitchell Harris, 44, was arrested Tuesday, April 15 and charged with felony - terroristic threats and acts.

Deputy Travis Courson responded to a residence in Pierce County that led to Harris’s arrest.

• Charles Earnest Clos, 37, was arrested Wednesday, April 16, and charged with felony - aggravated assault, misdemeanor - criminal trespass and theft by taking (resulting from an incident which happened April 15). Deputy Jacob Holmes responded to an area in Pierce County that led to Clos’s arrest.

• John Charles Jacobs, 53, was arrested Friday, April 18, and charged with felony - forgery first degree. K-9 Sergeant Michael James responded to an area in Pierce County Monday, April 7. After initial contact and further investigation, Jacobs was arrested in the case.
