WAYCROSS — Mrs. Deborah Ann Schaefer Miller, 49, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025, at the Hospice House Satilla following a short illness.
She was born in Killeen, Texas to Benny Earl Schaefer and Ruth Irene Burnell Schaefer. Mrs. Miller was curr ently employed as a store manager with Friendly Express in Waycross, but had been
Miller
formerly employed by Circle K as well. She also worked as a bartender at Applebee’s of Waycross for a number of years.
Mrs. Miller is survived by six children, Michael Jones, Crystal Jones, and Anthony Jones, all of Arkansas, Kaitlan Hunt of Hoboken, Candice Hunt (Brett Stewart) of Blackshear and Heather Hunt of Blackshear; numerous grandchildren; and a brother, Ben Schaefer, of Texas.
A funeral service was held Saturday, April 12 at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.
