Flossie Hall, occupational therapy assistant, was recently honored with the Sunflower Award for extraordinary team members at Memorial Satilla Health. The award presented quarterly is part of the hospital’s efforts to recognize non-nurse team members who deliver compassionate care and exceptional patient experiences daily. “Flossie ensures patients' families and staff are all up to date and keeps a log that staff can refer back to should any questions come up,” said a co-worker who nominated her. “She has a helping spirit and always looks for ways to assist anyone. She goes way beyond what is expected of her. If Flossie is working, we know we’re gonna have a good day!' Hall lives in Waycross and has been a team member at Memorial Satilla for 12 years. The hospital’s DAISY Award recognizes extraordinary nurses on a quarterly basis.
