WAYCROSS — Rebecca “Becky” Taylor, 59, of Waycross died Sunday morning, April 13, 2025 at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House after an extended illness.
Ms. Taylor was born in Waycross to the late William Oliver Taylor and Ethel Durrance Taylor. She made Waycross her home all of her life.
She was a very special and loving person that was the heart of her family. Ms. Taylor enjoyed writing, drawing and crafts.
In addition to her parents Ms. Taylor is preceded in death by her siblings, Linda Gail Dubberly, Peggy J. Shelton, Jimmy Taylor, Charlie Taylor and Elaine Taylor.
She is survived by four siblings, James Byrd and his wife, Darlene, of Waycross, Evelyn Kirkland and her husband, Jimmy, of Waycross, Isaac Taylor of Brantley County, and Wayne Taylor and his wife, Katherine, of Brantley County; numerous nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, April 15, 2025 in Ramah Cemetery in Pierce County.
