EMS Director Daniel Royal, a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman, led the pledge of allegiance at the county commission’s April regular meeting. Royal serves with the 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Company F, based in Eastover, SC. He is a hospital corpsman first class and leading petty officer of the reserve corpsman.
