Dale Neely, CEO of Memorial Satilla Health, was the guest speaker at last week’s Blackshear Rotary Club meeting. Neely provided an update on hospital operations and capital projects. Neely reported Memorial Satilla is applying with the state for a Trauma Level 4 designation. Construction plans are underway for an Emergency Department expansion and a Breast Center. Dr. Eduardo Venegas, interventional cardiologist, recently joined the cardiology program alongside Dr. Catchings. The Heart Center celebrates 15 years and has conducted 3,400 interventional, lifesaving procedures since it launched in 2010.
