The Rev. Johnny B. Gipson, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at his residence.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23.
The Rev. Gipson was the long-time pastor of the Macedoinia Missionary Baptist Church in Patterson.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 11, at the New Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 901 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, from the Greater St. Paul AME Church, 1110 Pittman Street, Waycross.
Interment will follow in the Waresboro Cemetery, Pineview Church Road, Waycross.
