Cecil Davis, 79, of Black-shear, passed away Sat-urday night, February

22, 2025, at HCA Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, following an extended illness.
Born October 9, 1945, in Ware County, he was a son of the late Johnny Davis and Ruth Ann Hogan Davis. He lived most of his life in Ware and Pierce Counties and had worked as a carpenter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Faye Davis; and siblings, Ruth Lyons, Angeline Corbitt, Jasper Davis, Edward Davis and Benny Lyons.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Davis, Blackshear; six daughters, Jean Turner, Cobbtown, Kara Heath, Blackshear, Liza Davis and Elouise Davis, both of Waycross and Marie Davis and Tonya Siffles, both of Alma; several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; two brothers, Elmer Davis and Marvin Davis (wife Jeanette), both of Waycross and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
