Hardt Strickland was named champion of the Georgia State Golf Association (GSGA) Junior Tour Classic Tournament. Strickland shot a 76 in the first round and a 77 in the second round to win first place by a stroke. A total of 21 players competed in his age division. He was 11 + for the two day tournament. The tournament took place at the Chateau Elan Course in Braselton.
