
Danny Lamar Hollaway, 62, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday morning, February 4, 2025, at his residence, following an extended illness.
Born June 3, 1962, in Blackshear, he was a son of the late Robert Lamar and Waunell Dortha Hollaway. He lived all his life in Pierce County and was a logger with ET Logging.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Rozier.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Youmans Hollaway, Blackshear; two sons, Kevin Deen (wife Tammy), Woodbine and Randall Carter, Blackshear; a daughter, Gina Hollaway, Patterson; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Cooper (husband Buck), Patterson and Dawn Kirkland, Blackshear; his special support companions, Prissy and Big Boy and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, from the chapel of Hart Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Waters Cemetery.
