Memorial Satilla Health to host blood drive Feb. 7 Memorial Satilla Health will host a Heart Health Month blood drive from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, February 7, at the Hospital Annex, 1800 Alice Street Waycross.
The blood drive will be held at the Hospital Annex. Donors are encouraged to make an appointment to ensure the drive is sufficiently staffed and all donor slots are filled.

TBC is offering $40 in rewards to donors. Hospital Auxiliary volunteers will also serve homemade goodies and snacks.
Aging Advisory Council to meet Wednesday, Feb. 26 The Aging Advisory Council of the Southern Georgia Regional Commission’s Area Agency on Aging will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 26. Chamber hosts ‘How to Have Difficult Conversations’ Feb. 11 Pierce County Chamber of Commerce hosts Jackie Harder and her special class How to Have Difficult Conversations.
An internationally certified trainer for more than 20 years, Harder creates custom training programs to help with public speaking, management skills, professional development, team building, goal setting and more. A media executive for 30 years, and later the CEO of the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce, Jackie incorporated her business, Key Dynamics Coaching and Consulting, in 2003.
The special class is Tuesday, February 11 from 9am-12pm st 200 SW Central Ave. Blackshear, Ga. Cost to attend is $20 a person.
