• James Leroy Swain, 55, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 9, and charged with felony - possession of scheduled IV controlled substance and misdemeanor - possession of marijuana less than 1oz.
K-9 Sergeant Michael James responded to a call at a residence leading to Swain’s arrest.
• Amber Nicole Gill, 42, was arrested Friday, January 17, and charged with felony - possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule II controlled substance (two counts), misdemeanor - possession of marijuana less than 1oz, possession and use of drug related objects, and drugs not in original container (two counts).
Aggressive Crime Enforcement (ACE) Unit Investigators Greg Nettles and Wayne Mercer conducted a traffic stop leading to Gill’s arrest.
• Tezmond Terrell Mitchell, 26, and Ebony Ann Brown, 36, were arrested Friday, January 17.
Mitchell and Brown were both charged with felony trafficking fentanyl, possession of firearm during certain crime, misdemeanor - possession of marijuana less than 1oz and possession and use of drug related objects.
Mitchell was additionally charged with possession of firearm by convicted felon.
Brown was additionally charged with driving while license suspended, headlight violation and driving while under the influence (DUI).
K-9 Sergeant and Deputy Colene Thrift made the arrests during a traffic stop.
