Waycross honored Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a parade on Monday afternoon, January 20 through the streets of downtown. Participants and spectators braved near-freezing temperatures under a bright blue winter sky to celebrate the life of the iconic Civil Rights leader. The theme for the celebration was “Mission Impossible: Protecting Freedom, Justice and Democracy in the Spirit of Nonviolence
