Deputy Ralph Miller of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office led the pledge of allegiance at the county commission’s January 7 regular meeting. Miller served in the U.S. Marine Corps from
1964-1969 working in heavy equipment maintenance. He then joined the United States Navy as a computer technician and served from 1977--
