Genealogist at Appling Heritage Center Jan. 8
Larry Thomas of Gilshot Genealogy Services will be the guest speaker at the annual meeting of the Appling County Heritage Center.
Thomas will speak about genealogy research. He is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and specializes in pedigree and descendant charts, relationship charts and genealogy reports. His main topic will be how to begin genealogy research into family lines, pointing out things not to do in the process. The meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the Sarah’s in the City Restaurant in Baxley.
