Stocking Fund receives first donations

The Waycross Journal-Herald’s Christmas tradition, known as the Empty Stocking Fund, is seeking its first donations.

Contributions will be accepted throughout the month of December.

Donations to the fund may be delivered from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., weekdays to the Waycross Journal-Herald office at 311 Carswell Avenue or mailed to:

Four donations have been received totaling $925.

• $25: Hunter Thomas and family;

• $200: In memory of our loved ones. George & Pamela Delk Farr;

• $200: Rick and Connie Oliver;

• $500: Hephzibah Baptist Church;
