The Pierce County Bears 2022 season came to an end in the Elite Eight of the state play offs Friday night in Roswell. The Bears fell 40-22 to the Fellowship Christian Paladins.
The Bears end the season with an overall record of 11-2 and 5-1 in Region 3-AA play. The 2022 senior class finishes with 46 wins, three region championships and a state championship.

Bear Scoring Recap
DJ Bell opened the scoring for the Bears with a 28-yard run with 3:37 remaining in the second quarter. Jonah Allen added the extra point to bring the Bears to within 17-7.
The Bears opened the second half with a two-yard score by Bell. Following the extra point by Allen the Bears trailed 20-14 at the 7:07 mark in the third quarter. That was as close as Pierce would get, however.
The final score for the Bears came on a three-yard run by Bell. The two point conversion was good to make the final score 40-22.
