More joy came to parents Halley and Barrett Carter of Metairie, La., and sisters Bennett and Catherine as they recently welcomed baby Clara Elizabeth to the family.
Baby Clara arrived on September 25, 2024, and weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces. Her mother is the former Halley Schonekas.
Maternal grandparents are Molly Roberts of New Orleans, La., and Kyle and Patricia Schonekas of Metairie. Her paternal grandparents are Amy and Earl (Buddy) Carter of St. Simons Island, Ga.
Local great grandmother is Betty Coppage of Waycross.
