Christmas in the Park in Patterson will take place Friday, Dec. 13.
The event will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Patterson Park on Georgia Highway 32, and will include free food, crafts and music.
The event will include a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus on board the Patterson Fire Truck and Jolly the Elf will join. The Grinch might also be lurking around.
Mayor Dedi Thomas asks citizens to volunteer to help out with the event. Those interested in volunteering are asked to contact city hall at (912) 647-5776.
