The Waycross/Ware County Library Board received an update on the renovation of the library at 401 Lee Avenue from Regional Director Erica Stembridge (center-rear) during last month’s board meeting. The renovation will include a community kitchen and meeting room, a counter with seating and electronics plug-ins, updated American Disability Act accessibility, and individual bathroom stalls. Present for the briefing were board members (l-r) Sheinita Bennett, Karen Ethridge, Cheryl Jacobs, Stembridge, Paige Coker, Janice Williams, and Evelyn Denton. Architect Richard Sasser projects a spring completion, Stembridge said.
