Games, vendors, free food at voter registration event

Porter Healthcare Solutions and Black Men of Excellence held a community voter registration event on Saturday, September 21 at Bailey Street Park.

In addition to registration opportunities, volunteers and atten-dees were treated to games, free food, jumpy houses, and local vendor booths.

Congressional District 1 Candidate Patti Hewitt and City Commission District 1 Candidate Dr. Jené Walker were available to speak with attendees and address questions and concerns.
