A crew from Crowder Gulf Disaster Recovery & Debris Management picks up tree limbs in Jamestown Thursday (October 3) as part of the firm’s contract with Ware County on collections and disposal of the debris left from Hurricane Helene’s trip through the area September 26-27. The county contracted with the Florida company after the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) gave the county a disaster area designation following the storm. The company performed similar work for the city and county after Hurricane Idalia passed through as a tropical storm in late August, 2023.
