‘Faces of Hope’

The Faces of HOPE October brings cooler temps, football games, pumpkin spice “everything,” along with colorful mums and leaves. However, for those who are battling breast cancer, October brings pink ribbons and t-shirts, cancer walks, and the spirit of hope as they cheer each other on to the finish line.

Over the next few weeks, you will hear from breast cancer warriors as they share their own personal experiences. You will find that no two warriors are alike. Breast cancer does not discriminate. No matter the age, race, sex or family history…it is the most common cancer in the United States with an estimate of over 300,000 new cases in 2024.

As you read each story you will be amazed at the attitudes, the faith, and the joy each of these warriors portray. Their goal is not to scare you with daunting stories of gloom and doom, nor to bore you with facts of the disease. Their goal, above all else, is to share HOPE with each one who joins us on this journey. Next, to bring knowledge to those facing a new diagnosis. Finally, to allow each of you to recognize there is quality of life during and after cancer.

Thank you so much for joining us! Please invite others to come along as we kick off “BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH” with “The Faces of HOPE!”
