County reminds citizens that debris will be picked up

Let the clean-up begin.

ROW Equipment, Inc. of Patterson was the lone bidder for debris recovery and grinding from Hurricane Helene.

Commissioners awarded the bid at their regular meeting last Tuesday night.

ROW Equipment, Inc. will be paid $17 per cubic yard of debris.

The company is expected to begin removal of vegetative debris throughout the county beginning this week.

County Manager Raphel Maddox requests residents move their debris to the right-ofway next to your property.

ROW Equipment, Inc. will make one pass at each location and will cover all county maintained roads.

The contractor will not return to an address after the initial pass.

Maddox also reminds residents that all tree trunk debris needs to be six feet or smaller.
