Bostonians lend aid to Pierce County

Boston has come to Pierce County.

A group of volunteers led by Fabiola DeLeon, Jimmy DeLeon and Briana Lopez came down from Massachusetts last week to help with hurricane relief.

F. DeLeon, J. DeLeon and Stars also volutneered to help distribute Lopez are family friends of Erica and Joseph Rivas of Blackshear.

“They knew we were down here where the storm passed through and wanted to do something to help,” said the Rivas.

F. DeLeon, J. DeLeon and Lopez collected water, diapers, batteries, baby wipes, juice, dog food and cat food to distribute to Pierce County residents affected by the storm.
