Steel and metal for breakfast

Steel and Metal Systems (SAMS) of Blackshear served up a free hot breakfast to the community Monday and Tuesday mornings. Trading in their CAD programs and metal crimping machinery for tables laden with food, volunteers from the SAMS crew chatted with members of the community as they put to-go boxes together. Sausage dogs, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and an orange were on the menu, making it a good start for local residents coping with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
