The Rev. Lori Howell-Miller, former branch manager of the Pierce County Library, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18. She was 58.
The Rev. Howell-Miller served as manager of the Pierce County Library from 2013-2014. She is remembered this week as a manager who did a great job for library patrons.
The Rev. Howell-Miller taught in Ware County Schools for 12 years prior to becoming branch manager and she later served with Clinch County Head Start and went into the ministry.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Sept. 21, from the Pinson Memorial Church in Sylvester.
