Editor, The Times: We want to say thank you to everyone who came out and had their car washed and supported us during our recent fundraiser for my brother, Junior Turner.
We made progress towards raising enough funds to repair Junior’s wheelchair lift for his vehicle.

Junior is 53 and was severely injured in a swimming accident 36 years ago that left him paralyzed from the neck down.
He has been able to maintain his indepedence with a specially outfitted wheelchair lift for his vehicle. The lift has developed mechanical problems and is no longer working.
I assure you any money we raise will go to repairing the lift. We are grateful for all donations we have received.
