Donation creates new scholarship
Accepting the National Board for Respiratory Care donation on behalf of Coastal Pines are (lr) Respiratory Care Instructor Breanna Brown and Executive Director of College Advancement Stephanie Roberts.

Respiratory Care Program Receives Donation Through CPTC Foundation The National Board for Respiratory Care (NRBC) recently donated $10,000 to start a Respiratory Care Scholarship for students enrolled in the Respiratory Care Program at Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC). To qualify for the scholarship, students must be enrolled in the Respiratory Care Therapy program and meet minimum GPA requirements set by the CPTC Foundation. Students can be enrolled fulltime or part-time. 'We are very excited to offer this scholarship to Respiratory Care program students. Our students need assistance for various program-related expenses,” said Stephanie Roberts, Executive Director of College Advancement. “This money will allow them to concentrate more on their studies and less on the financial constraints of being a college student.”
