TIFTON — Mrs. Helen Brunetteus Walters Driver, 87, of Tifton, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, September 28, 2022) in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home before the service.
Mrs. Driver was born December 19, 1934 in Worth County to the late Charlie Thomas Walters and Bertha Moon Walters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Franklin Driver, Jr., her two sons, Randy J. Driver and Ronnie David Driver. Mrs. Driver was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was a 1951 graduate of Colquitt County High School. She was a housekeeper and retail clerk. She enjoyed writing poems, crocheting and reading her Bible.
