Isaiah Nathaniel Washington, lovingly known as Ike, 71, of Patterson, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in Patterson.
He was born January 16, 1955 in Patterson. He received his education through the Pierce County School System and went on to work as a CSX mechanic. He was a man who appreciated honest work and the simple gifts of life. Kind by nature, he was known as someone whose presence brought warmth and steadiness to others.
He found joy in the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. As an outdoorsman, he embraced the peace and freedom that came with time spent outside and those memories will remain treasured by the people who shared in those moments with him.
He leaves behind his sisters, who will carry his memory forward with enduring love. The bond of family was an important part of his life and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 28, from the St. James (on the Ridge) Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 5610 Aarons Way, Patterson.
