HORTENSE — Wesley Andrew Jacobs, Sr., of Hortense, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 10, 2022.
Born in Waycross, his parents are David Wayne Jacobs and Frankey Little Jacobs, of Hortense. He was also preceded by a cousin, Jay Hodge.
Jacobs loved hunting, fishing, spending time with the boys, building things with his hands, world history, and worldly information. He worked as a Flooring Contractor for Self Floors.
Survivors include his parents, David Wayne and Frankey Little Jacobs of Hortense; a son Wesley Andrew Jacobs, Jr. and a step-son, Tommy Willis both of Hortense. A fiancé, Rochelle Smith of Hortense. Also several other relatives and a host of friends.
A funeral service was held Friday morning, October 14, 2022, at Little Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Ritchie Self officiating.
Burial followed in Little Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Devon Addis, Joe Quarterman, William Smith, Jason Taylor, Jared Self, and Gary Frantum.
Honorary pallbearers were Derek Addis, Darin Addis, and Charles Hodge.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
