The Pierce County Chamber of Commerce has announced their 6th Annual Community Chamber Chow. The event is set for 5 p.m. December 14th at the Chamber office, located in the historic train depot at 200 Southwest Central Avenue in downtown Blackshear.
“The Community Chamber Chow is simply about community. It’s an opportunity to open our doors, welcome our neighbors, and share a warm meal together during the Christmas season,” says Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Christi Pitts. “We’ll be serving chili and homemade cornbread, and the Coca-Cola Wagon will also be joining us to make the evening even more festive.”
Pitts says everyone is welcome and there is no membership requirement, no program, and no agenda— just good food, fellowship and an opportunity to spend time together as a community. Volunteers from local businesses are welcome to assist with preparing, serving, greeting our guests or simply helping us make everyone who attends feel at home. Please call 912-449 7044 for more info. “Please mark your calendar, invite your employees, family, friends, and neighbors, and come enjoy an evening with us,” says Pitts. “We hope to see you there—and come hungry!”
