Pierce County’s Lady Bears closed out their regular season splitting their last two games and earning one of five Region 3AAA berths to the 32-team Class AAA playoffs.
Sixth-ranked PCHS (20-7 overall, 7-5 region) ended Class A ninthranked playoff-bound Clinch County’s (16-9) sixgame winning streak Wednesday, October 7 to survive with a 4-3 decision in Homerville over the Lady Panthers.
