Harborview Pierce hosts Trunk or Treat
Harborview Pierce invites the community to its Trunk & Treat Fest 3-6 p.m. Friday, October 30 at 221 East Carter Ave., Blackshear. Everyone is welcome.
Harborview is also looking for decorated trunks, vendors and donations to help make this a fun, safe, family-friendly event for our community. Donations to help make the event a success are gratefully accepted.

Memorial Satilla ‘Crush the Crisis’ event set for Oct. 24
Memorial Satilla has partnered with Pierce County Sheriff’s Office and Ware County Sheriff’s Office for its annual “Crush the Crisis” prescription drug take back day 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, October 24, at the YMCA of Waycross.
The event coincides with the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day and offers the chance to safely and anonymously dispose of medications to help prevent misuse.

Waycross AmVets host bingo, Oct. 24
The C.C. Stephens AmVets Post 621 will host a bingo event 4 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Stephens Venue located 773 Ossie Davis Drive in Waycross.
The entry fee is $25 per person. See any Waycross AmVets member for tickets. All proceeds go to support the chapter’s programs and services.
