Harris II
BRUNSWICK — Roy Wayne Harris II of Brunswick tragically passed away Friday, September 25, 2026, at the age of 48.
Harris was born May 23, 1978 and raised in Jesup. He attended Wayne County High School in the mid 1990s before persuing his career in painting. Harris spent most of his life in Brunswick, where he worked as a painter by trade.
Harris was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Sutton Lewis; and his stepfather, John Darwin Lewis, Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Wayne Harris of Nahunta; his sister, Connie Harris Asbell (Donnie) of Brunswick; his brother, John Darwin Lewis, Jr. (Tonia) of Jesup; and several nieces and nephews.
Though Harris’s time with us was far too short, the memories he leaves behind will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of life was held Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Memorial Baptist Church in Jesup.
Howard & Jones Funeral Home of Jesup was in charge of arrangements.
