Kathy Lee Ferrell Smiley, 61, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 4, 2024, at her residence.
Born in Blackshear December 21, 1962, she lived in Pierce County all her life. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was a proud grandmother who dearly loved her grandchildren and enjoyed all sorts of arts and crafts as well as good joke or two.
She was a daughter of the late Herbert Hugh and Willie Mae Crews Ferrell. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Kim Ferrell Tippins.
Survivors include her husband, Lemar Smiley, Blackshear; her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Kee Blocker, Blackshear; her son, Michael Smiley, Blackshear; a sister, Sprucy Jones, Sautee-Nacoochee; two grandchildren, Kinsleigh Stearley and Keelan Blocker; a special friend, Susan Luke, Offerman; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
