
Robert Lee Hallman, 87, of Lake City, FL, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at the Lake City VA Medical Center.
Born in Nahunta November 13, 1938, he lived there most of his life before moving to Lake City eight years ago. He was a 1956 graduate of Nahunta High School and served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He would go on to work for Kraft in their glass division until 1984 then worked for other glass companies before retiring in 1989. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf, fishing, visiting national parks and the Florida Gators. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
He was the son of the late Homer Lee Hallman and Ruby Mae Pearson Hallman Teten. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Robert James Hallman and Jody Andrew Hallman and his sister, Betty Jo Nichols.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donovan Hallman, Lake City and Darren and Megan Hallman, Wynantskill, NY; four grandchildren, Judy Hallman, Savannah Hallman, Robert Lee Hallman II and Erica Hallman; two great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in the Old Oak Grove Cemetery in Brantley County.
