BRUNSWICK — Brantley County native Dr. Jonathon Edgy, Pediatrician, has joined Coastal Commun ity Health. Dr. Edgy is returning home to serve the community which helped shape him. He is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to infants, children and adolescents while partnering with parents to support their children’s lifelong health and well-being.

Dr. Edgy earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2023 and completed his pediatric residency at UF Health/Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla., in 2026.
He is also a proud recipient of the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Rural Pediatrics Scholarship.
Known for his warm and approachable manner, Dr. Edgy is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and families throughout our community.
