The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has opened an investigation into a “use of force” incident involving the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
Sara Lue, Director of Public & Governmental Affairs, confirmed the investigation last week.
Details about the incident were not released as Lue cited the fact the investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
