Leah Ritch, Pierce County Board of Elections Supervisor, was presented with the Election Administration Golden Leader in Excellence (EAGLE) Award during a ceremony last week at the Pierce County Court House Annex on Nichols Street.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger honored Ritch, her staff and the county’s poll workers with the award. The award is given to elections staff to recognize their continued commitment to election security, integrity and accuracy.
Raffensperger also commended Ritch for her 14 years of service to Pierce County Elections and noted her role as a mentor for her fellow elections supervisors around the southeast Georgia area.
“When people need help with issues they come across, they call Leah and she is able to guide them through and resolve the problem,” said Raffensearger. “I appreciate that.”
