Editor, The Times: On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am pleased to recognize Marilyn P. Bennett on her appointment to the Superior Court of the Waycross Judicial Circuit.
Judge Bennett brings extensive experience serving the circuit to the Superior Court bench. She currently serves as district attorney for the Waycross Judicial Circuit, becoming the first woman to hold that position. Before her election as district attorney, she served as a senior assistant district attorney in the Waycross office and was the lead trial attorney on major felony cases.
